Senior Business Development Executive

At NIQ, we're looking for a commercially driven and ambitious Senior Business Development Executive to accelerate revenue growth through a combination of new business acquisition and strategic account expansion.
This is an ideal opportunity for a sales professional who thrives on hunting for new opportunities, building meaningful client relationships, and closing high-value deals. You'll work with some of the world's leading manufacturers and retailers, helping them unlock growth through NIQ's industry-leading data, analytics, and insights solutions.
What You'll Do
New Business Development (50%)
- Identify, target, and win new clients across assigned markets and industries.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, social selling, and direct outreach.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Develop strategic plans to penetrate target accounts and generate new revenue streams.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite decision-makers.
Account Growth & Client Development (50%)
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding NIQ's solutions within client organizations.
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and become their strategic partner.
- Understand clients' business objectives and align NIQ solutions to their needs.
- Drive client retention and long-term revenue growth.
What We're Looking For
- 4-7 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, account growth, or commercial roles.
- Proven success in hunting and winning new business.
- Experience within market research, consumer insights, retail measurement, analytics, SaaS, data solutions, or related industries.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build senior-level client relationships and navigate complex organizations.
- Results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
