Job Summary:
CASES is currently seeking an Assistant Team Leader to join a new initiative, the Intensive Services Unit (ISU) within the Pretrial Services Department. In their role, the Assistant Team Leader will provide direct supervision and clinical support to four (4) staff members during the night shift in Manhattan Criminal Court. The oversight will be of a unique team who are building and maintaining a caseload from the courtroom to the community nightly. The Assistant Team Leader will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the team with the additional support of the Director of Arraignments.
The Intensive Services Unit (ISU) initiative will implement innovative approaches to working with individuals who have been placed in the Supervised Release Program and experience more extensive needs and challenges that may impact daily functioning and overall program engagement. The ideal candidate for this position will work well as part of a coordinated clinical team actively assisting all team members. The focus group of program participants manage challenges in mental health, substance use, employment, and medical health. The team promotes proactive, sustained engagement in the community as a catalyst to individual transformation by bridging participants to community partners and resources eager to support our participants in realizing their greatest potential. 
Salary: The salary for the Assistant Team Leader role is $77,000 - $79,000 per year.
Shift Hours: This position is full-time working Saturday-Wednesday from 5pm to 1am.

 Department Management: Build and manage a team of HR and recruiting professionals in New York and Chicago offices.

 Policy Development: Ensure all firm policies are designed to meet our goals and initiatives while complying with federal, state and local regulations.

 Talent Acquisition and Management: Work with department heads to forecast headcount needs, developing plans to recruit to the firm's needs.  Benefits Administration: Perform annual benefit renewal process with brokers and open enrollment activity for the firm. Manage the firm's benefits offering, including Health Insurance, FSA, 401k, etc.

 Compensation Planning: Work with CEO, CFO and department heads in developing and maintaining competitive compensation plans. Schedule all annual compensation meetings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Immigration Policy and Procedures: Oversee immigration policy in collaboration with legal counsel, including deep knowledge of OPT/CPT, H-1B Visa and PERM Visa processing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Governmental Compliance: Maintain updated knowledge and understanding of US feeral and state employment and labor laws, regulations, procedures, and standards.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Ten plus years of Human Resources experience, including four years of management experience. Experience in a trading environment or financial services desired, but not required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong management and team building skills. Experience managing remotely located team members a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong relationships across the company, from the leadership team to traders to software developers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfort in managing highly sensitive matters, maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
 </li>
 <li>
 Impeccable ethics and integrity in all aspects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Immigration and labor law expertise is strongly preferred.

 The annual base salary range is $65,000 to $80,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
