Develop, implement, and maintain accounts payable</b> policies, procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that strengthen internal controls, prevent fraud and errors, and support compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitor AP production data and use performance indicators to identify gaps, improve processes, and ensure operational excellence.</li><li><b>
Coordinate fiscal year-end AP close activities</b> in partnership with the Finance and Business Operations Division (FBOD), including processing deadlines, accruals, and reconciliation activities. Serve as the primary point of contact for AP-related year-end reporting, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reported accurately.</li><li><b>
Prepare, analyze, and deliver regular reports</b> <b>on AP aging</b>, payment trends, and performance metrics. Reconcile the AP subsidiary ledger to the general ledger monthly and at year-end. Manage system responsibilities for accounts payable</b>, including troubleshooting issues, supporting users, and coordinating with IT support teams. Oversee Content Manager functions to ensure proper document storage, retention, and retrieval in alignment with County records policies.
