Job Description 
We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Land Surveyors to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a key technical position responsible for conducting precise land surveys and site assessments for major projects, including roads and infrastructure, micro tunneling, and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP).Successful candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring project accuracy, compliance with local regulations, and timely delivery of surveying data to support project planning and execution.<ul><li>
Conduct comprehensive land surveys using advanced surveying equipment including GPS/GNSS systems, total stations, and laser levels for roads, infrastructure, and underground utility projects</li><li>
Perform site analysis and reconnaissance for micro tunneling and STP projects to establish survey control networks and reference points</li><li>
Collect, process, and analyze surveying data with precision, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications and UAE surveying standards</li><li>
Prepare detailed survey reports, site plans, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and other surveying software</li><li>
Establish and maintain coordinate systems, benchmarks, and control points for ongoing project reference and monitoring</li><li>

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or related discipline</li><li>
Professional Land Surveyor license or certification (UAE or internationally recognized equivalent)</li><li>
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in land surveying with demonstrated expertise in roads and infrastructure projects</li><li>
Proven experience with micro tunneling projects and underground utility surveys</li><li>
Hands-on experience with Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) site surveys and layout design</li><li>
Proficiency with surveying software and tools including AutoCAD, GPS/GNSS processing software, and total station operation</li><li>
Strong knowledge of coordinate systems, datum transformations, and surveying calculations</li><li>
Familiarity with UAE surveying standards, regulations, and local construction practices</li><li>
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail</li><li>

Job Description 
Job Summary
AECOM is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor major project located in Dubai.<ul><li>Review and understand project contract documents, drawings, specifications, and relevant authority standards to ensure accurate survey execution and compliance with design requirements.</li><li>Establish, verify, and maintain primary horizontal and vertical control points on site, including reference benchmarks and traverse networks.</li><li>Coordinate with the Contractor&rsquo;s surveyor to verify site benchmarks, layout, and control data prior to commencement of construction activities.</li><li>Check and verify all setting-out works including alignment, levels, and coordinates for roads, utilities (wet and dry), structures, and other civil works to ensure accuracy and compliance with approved drawings.</li><li>Monitor excavation levels, backfilling, and compaction layers to ensure compliance with approved design grades and tolerances.</li><li>Inspect and confirm the correct installation of utilities, chambers, and ducts based on approved survey data and ensure correct cover levels and horizontal alignment.</li><li>Conduct topographic and as-built surveys, ensuring data accuracy and proper submission of as-built drawings for approval.</li><li>Verify survey instruments are properly calibrated and maintained as per project and QA/QC requirements.</li><li>Assist the Resident Engineer (RE) and Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) in checking the contractor&rsquo;s survey works, identifying discrepancies, and issuing site instructions as required.</li><li>Record and document survey data, prepare survey reports, and maintain field books for all inspection and verification activities.</li><li>Ensure the contractor&rsquo;s survey team follows approved method statements and safety procedures during survey activities.</li><li>Perform joint surveys with the contractor and client representatives for measurement verification, payment quantities, and handover purposes.</li><li>Ensure all utilities and structures are constructed to correct levels and alignments before covering or backfilling works.</li><li>Participate in resolving survey-related issues or conflicts on site, including interface coordination between different packages or contractors.</li><li>Report any discrepancies, deviations, or errors found in the contractor&rsquo;s setting out to the RE/ARE immediately.</li><li>Monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance during survey activities and report any unsafe practices observed on site.</li></ul> 
Qualifications

Relevant university or college qualification (Min 7 Years of Diploma in Civil or Survey)</li><li>
Work experience of not less than 10 years in construction and/or supervision</li><li>
