KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is currently looking to fill a position of Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer for an Offshore Island Project to be based in UAE ( Abu Dhabi) as soon as the administrative processes are completed, will then relocate to Spain Office and then return to Abu Dhabi .
Job Purpose
The Lead Rotating Engineer is responsible for leading the engineering, design, selection, procurement, and technical management of rotating equipment for ADNOC Offshore projects. The role ensures that all rotating equipment complies with ADNOC standards, international codes, project requirements, and reliability objectives throughout the project lifecycle from FEED to commissioning and start-up.

<ul><li>Lead the design and engineering activities related to rotating equipment for offshore oil &amp; gas facilities.</li>
<li>Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of:
<ul><li>Equipment datasheets</li>
<li>Technical specifications</li>
<li>Material requisitions</li>
<li>Technical bid evaluations</li>
<li>Vendor drawings and documents</li>
</ul></li><li>Manage the design and selection of:
<ul><li>Centrifugal and reciprocating compressors</li>
<li>Gas turbines</li>
<li>Steam turbines</li>
<li>Pumps</li>
<li>Blowers and fans</li>
<li>Diesel engines</li>
<li>Generators</li>
<li>Package equipment</li>
</ul></li><li>Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes such as API, ISO, ASME, and IEC.</li>
<li>Coordinate closely with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Structural, and Procurement teams.</li>
<li>Review vendor proposals and conduct technical clarification meetings.</li>
<li>Support procurement, inspection, testing, factory acceptance tests (FAT), construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.</li>
<li>Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, Design Reviews, and Constructability Reviews.</li>
<li>Resolve technical issues, engineering deviations, and site queries during project execution.</li>
<li>Monitor engineering schedules and ensure timely delivery of rotating equipment packages.</li>
<li>Mentor and guide rotating equipment engineers and project team members.</li>
</ul><div></div>Qualifications
<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.</li>
<li>Master's Degree is an added advantage.</li>
<li>Professional Engineering certification is preferred.</li>
</ul><div></div>Experience
<ul><li>Minimum 18&ndash;20 years of experience in Oil &amp; Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Refinery, or Offshore EPC projects.</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years of experience in a Lead Rotating Engineer role.</li>
<li>Proven experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, and Brownfield projects.</li>
<li>Extensive experience working on ADNOC Offshore, ADNOC Gas, Saudi Aramco, QatarEnergy, or other major Middle East energy projects.</li>
<li>Experience with offshore platforms, gas compression stations, processing facilities, and offshore production complexes is highly preferred.</li>
