 Primary Purpose Of The Job
 
 
 
 This position is responsible for communication with both External counterparties such as Banks, and QatarEnergy Subsidiaries and Affiliate companies, as well as Internal Counterparties, with other departments and Divisions.
 
 
 
 Principal Accountabilities

 Develop key relationships with financial institutions with the objective of improving banking services required for operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Execute foreign exchange and money market transactions and manage the overall counterparty limits with the objective of meeting operational requirement and risk policies.

 Analyse the current banking structure and recommend improvements across QatarEnergy with a view to creating a best in class and cost-effective banking set-up across all business units in QatarEnergy and its group of companies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Involved in financing activities for QatarEnergy and its group of companies to make appropriate and applicable financing decisions. Optimize intercompany funding and lending activities and make recommendations on optimal funding mechanism review and coordinate with stakeholders the development of funding agreements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate and develop strategic relationships with business managers in QatarEnergy and its group of companies and sharing of best practice in order to improve process efficiencies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Optimize intercompany funding and lending activities and make recommendations on optimal funding mechanism, review and coordinate with stakeholders the development of funding agreements.

 Coordinate with banks to issue bank guarantees for QatarEnergy and its group companies required for operations.

 Required Experience And Skills

 At least 10-15 years of experience in medium to large organization with adequate exposure to accounting &amp; finance functions. Previous experience in similar capacity in an oil and gas industry would be an advantage

 Knowledge of systems in a computerized business environment which includes knowledge and experience in MS Office packages, SAP or similar advanced ERP systems.
 </li>

 To perform Cash Management function to ensure all payment requests are funded timeously and excess liquidity is invested to maximize returns.
 
 
 
 Principal Accountabilities

 Assess Treasury market risk, counterparty exposure, policy compliance, budgeting, and management reporting. As well as manage the overall counterparty limits on the Financial Instruments of the Group. Generate report of the Financial Instruments on a regular basis. Monitor and action items per covenants on timely basis.

 Prepare an analysis of the Cash balances and movement per entity on Weekly basis and propose for investment of the excess cash.

 Co-ordinate with Treasury Back Office (BO) to process transfer and FD and FX instructions.
