Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented <b>Electro Mechanical Inspector</b> to join our team! In this role you will get to <b>perform on complex inspection tasks and perform continuous surveillance of assigned maintenance and inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and </b><b>specifications.</b></p><div><p><b><br>
What You'll Be Doing:</b></p><div><ul><li><p>
Periodic inspection of existing assets including road lighting system, Traffic signals, Underpass &amp; under bridge lighting systems, tunnel electromechanical systems, pumping stations etc.</p></li><li><p>
Demolition of transportation facilities (roads, streets, bridges etc.)</p></li><li><p>
Construction/ maintenance of road lighting system, Underpass &amp; under bridge lighting systems, tunnel electromechanical systems, pumping stations etc.</p></li><li><p>
Drainage work, traffic control, compliance with SWPPP requirements.</p></li><li><p>
Installation of electrical equipment related to traffic signals, ramp metering and street lighting.</p></li><li><p>
Installation of mechanical equipment.</p></li><li><p>
Building and facility maintenance/construction and associated site development.</p></li><li><p>
Taking project photographs on a daily basis and filing them.</p></li><li><p>
Maintains office files related to the project, quantity calculations and writes daily diaries.</p></li><li><p>
Prepares daily reports and other documentation, as required by the contract</p></li><li><p>
Verifies that only approved materials are incorporated in the work.</p></li><li><p>
Performs labor compliance interviews and maintains as-built plans.</p></li><li><p>
Recognizes potential conflicts, issues and problems, and reports to supervisor with proposed solution.</p></li><li><p>
Collects, reviews and files Certificate of Compliance, MSDS, inspection tags and other information relevant to the materials used.</p></li><li><p>
May provide technical guidance to lower-level inspectors.</p></li><li><p>
Coordinates work of subconsultants for surveying and material testing.</p></li><li><p>
Participates in the development of job safety practices and in the preparation of safety reports.</p></li><li><p>
Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures.</p></li><li><p>
Reports on installed quantities to verify applications for payment and change order work.</p></li><li><p>
Responds to the call backs in case of emergency at the project site.</p></li><li><p>
May administer welder qualification tests.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
What Required Skills You'll Bring:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Degree/ Associate's Degree/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
</p></li><li><p>Minimum 3 years work experience in the Asset management and maintenance, Such as: road lighting, traffic signals, signage, underpass lighting, traffic signals, pumping stations, architectural, mechanical, or electrical within the emirate of Dubai.</p></li><li><p>
Must possess the ability to read working drawings and related specifications, and capable of enforcing such specifications.</p></li><li><p>
Solid experience in maintaining relevant records and generating activity reports.</p></li><li><p>
Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software.</p></li><li><p>
Good written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project team.</p></li></ul><p><b><br>
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Experience working on UAE Road Maintenance projects will be advantageous.</p></li><li><p>
