Security Guard (BRAVE Project)

Job Description:

• Maintain security of office premises, vehicles, and property at all times.

• Monitor entry and exit of staff, visitors, and vehicles through gate registers.

• Ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles enter the premises.

• Conduct routine inspections of gates, locks, lights, and fencing.

• Check visitor identification and issue visitor passes as required.

• Remain alert during duty hours and immediately report any suspicious activity or security threat.

• Ensure emergency exits and firefighting equipment remain accessible and functional.

• Safeguard office assets, equipment, and supplies from theft or damage.

• Support in monitoring storage of relief goods and materials in warehouse (if applicable).

• Assist in loading/unloading items under supervision of the Admin or Logistics staff.

• Maintain logbooks for visitor entry, vehicle movement, and night duty inspections.

• Immediately inform the supervisor about any incidents, security breaches, or accidents.

• Follow security protocols as per LPP and donor compliance requirements.

• Assist in implementing organization’s safety and emergency preparedness plans.

• Help in maintaining cleanliness around gate and main entrance area.

• Assist with small administrative or logistical tasks when required (e.g., receiving couriers, guiding visitors).

• Ensure proper handover at the end of each shift.
