Security Operations & Support Specialist

Vigilbase is seeking a skilled Security Operations & Support Specialist to join our growing team. You ll be the first line of defence for our clients, ensuring their environments stay secure and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with DNS/WAF deployments, log ingestion, dashboard access, and SSO configuration.
• Guide customers through our recommended security defaults and best practices.
• Respond to support tickets and live requests; investigate issues with Managed WAF, log analytics, and Cloudflare-based services.
• Escalate complex cases to engineering while keeping the client informed.
• Monitor alerts and suspicious activity, triage security events, and implement mitigation steps (WAF rules, rate limiting, blocking).
• Communicate clearly with customers during active incidents.
• Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and how-to guides.
• Identify recurring product issues and share insights with product/engineering.
• Work closely with Service Delivery and Customer Success to ensure smooth handovers and proactive customer care.
