Senior Accountant

Position Overview:We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will bring 6–8 years of solid bookkeeping expertise and 2–3 years of proven financial statement preparation experience (Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Balance Sheet). This role demands precision, analytical strength, and the ability to manage full-cycle accounting in a dynamic online business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all bookkeeping functions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and stakeholders.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, vendor payments, and monthly payroll.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions with zero tolerance for errors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting workflows and financial controls.
• Liaise with tax consultants and external auditors to ensure compliance and smooth audits.

Required Qualifications:

• 6–8 years of bookkeeping experience (Must Have)
• 2–3 years of hands-on financial statement preparation (Must Have)
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (Must Have)
• Experience with cloud accounting software such as Zoho, QuickBooks, or Xero (Preferred)
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Prior experience of the retail industry is a strong plus

Education:

• ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
