Senior Accountant

Minimum 2 year Dubai Experience is mandatory

Key Responsibilities

Maintain daily income sheets for each company and generate accurate daily cash flow reports.

Monitor cash receipts, verify bank deposits, and reconcile records.

Ensure all accounting entries comply with UAE VAT laws and FTA guidelines; prepare and submit VAT returns with full documentation.

Prepare progressive project-based invoices and issue invoices for consultancy, software, marketing, trading, and hospitality services.

Track and follow up on receivables and maintain AR aging reports.

Verify vendor invoices, maintain vendor ledgers, and handle recurring expenses such as salaries and utilities.

Accurately process payroll, manage employee salary records, and handle reimbursements and advances.

Generate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profitability and variance analyses.

Maintain all financial documents (contracts, invoices, payment receipts, vendor documents) completely and systematically for audits.

Implement robust internal controls, approve cash handling, and proactively support audits and process improvements.

Coordinate and standardize accounting practices, reporting, and intercompany reconciliations across all group entities.

Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience as an accountant managing books for multiple companies or business units.

Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, FTA compliance, and local accounting regulations.

Hands-on experience in AR, AP, payroll, financial reporting, and documentation.

Proficient in using accounting software, MS Excel, and reporting tools.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.

Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and handle diverse company-specific tasks.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
