About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with minimum 4 years UAE experience to join our team. Candidates with experience in interior fit-out and joinery projects are highly preferred. This role requires strong accounting, finance, and operations skills, including handling online sales portals such as Talabat, Noon, Careem, and ERP systems. The ideal candidate will manage financial operations, reporting, compliance, and guide junior accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including month-end & year-end closing, P&L statements, balance sheets, and financial reporting
• Perform bank reconciliation and manage accounts payable and receivable
• Oversee stock management, inventory control, and procurement
• Handle purchase orders (LPOs), vendor management, and payment processing
• Monitor sales coordination and online portal operations (Talabat, Noon, Careem, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with VAT filings, corporate tax, and UAE statutory requirements
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
• Conduct financial analysis and cost control measures
• Implement internal controls, accounting procedures, and policies
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities for smooth operations
• Ensure timely financial reporting to management and support strategic decision-making
• Assist in project cost tracking and profitability analysis
• Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping for all accounting transactions
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of company financial information

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years UAE experience as a Senior Accountant
• Experience in interior fit-out and joinery industry highly preferred
• Proficient in ERP and accounting software (advantage)
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and online sales portals
• Hands-on experience with VAT, corporate tax, and regulatory compliance
• Candidates on own visa (SP, family, or freelance) preferred
• Qualifications: M.Com / MBA / CA / CMA; additional professional courses are a plus
