Senior Accountant

Job Purpose:

To manage and oversee the complete accounting process, ensure financial accuracy, statutory compliance, and support management in financial planning and decision-making. The Senior Accountant will also supervise the accounts team and maintain timely reporting of all financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Management
• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally or ERP software.
• Manage accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliation, and journal entries.
• Ensure monthly and yearly closing of accounts.
• Taxation & Compliance
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).
• Handle TDS, Income Tax, and Professional Tax related work.
• Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and statutory compliance.
• Financial Reporting
• Prepare monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow and variance analysis.
• Present financial summaries to management and suggest improvements.
• Payroll & Expense Control
• Manage salary sheets, advances, incentives, and reimbursements.
• Monitor expenses, maintain vouchers, and ensure internal control systems.
• Team Coordination
• Supervise junior accountants and ensure timely completion of work.
• Train and guide the accounts staff on process improvements.
• Vendor & Bank Coordination
• Handle vendor payments, purchase bills verification, and ledger reconciliation.
• Coordinate with banks for OD accounts, fund transfers, and loan documentation.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime, Excel, and Accounting Standards
• Understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax filing
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
