Senior Accountant

Westin Trading, Inc. is a national trading company based in Saint Louis Missouri. Focusing on business to business sales, we are a leader in the wholesale grocery industry. Being in business for nearly 30 years, we supply product to retail grocery chains, large wholesalers, as well as convenience store chains.

Our primary business is buying and selling full truckloads of nationally branded and recognized grocery products. Items such as Tide, Huggies, Hunts, and Campbell’s.

Note: You may be invited to take part of assessment tests via Criteria Corp. and Total Testing. These tests help us evaluate each candidates level of experience.

Available Position:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create/send invoices to customers as needed.
• Monitor/ Manage A/R Aging
• Monitor/Manage Accounts Payable
• Responsible for Month End Close process.
• Research and resolve expense variances/discrepancies
• Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments to company.
• Manage all banking functions: Sending out wires, daily balancing, recording deposits, account reconciliations
• Assist with processing orders in QB on orders in/out of company warehouse.
• Process/Manage payroll in QB as well as company 401-k plan.
• Assist with other office management items.

• Experience / Requirements:
• Solid understanding of all bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Extensive knowledge using QuickBooks accounting software
• Ability to perform all accounting entries in QB.
• Highly proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good problem solving skills.
