You will advise on financial matters required by governmental regulations, you and your team will review, analyze, and interpret financial reports. You collaborate with our global team, promote best practices, and support team execution during critical periods. You will have attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills to support Google's business objectives.

And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for accuracy, timeliness, effectiveness, and efficiency of all processes related to controllership for Devices and Services Product Area (DSPA) in India.
• Partner with business teams on financial operations and ensure new product and launches adhere to finance requirements.
• Collaborate with global Business Finance and Controllership teams to ensure consistency and efficiencies, including contributing to system and process transformation initiatives with central functions.
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual close presentations and maintain an internal control environment, including ensuring accuracy of financial accounts. Support controllership teams on compliances including SOX requirements.
• Recognize potential areas of risk and develop risk management solutions. Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards, regulatory requirements and tax regulations, including management of the external audit and tax compliance for the respective Google entity in India.
