Senior Accountant- Australian Taxation

About the Role
We are a progressive accounting firm in Mohali, seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team and support our client managers and partners in providing high-quality accounting and taxation services to our diverse client base in Australia . This is a hands-on role where initiative, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility will be key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of Activity Statements, Tax Returns, and Financial Statements for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts as per Australian Taxations.
• SMSF experience (Australian Clients) is not essential but will be regarded.
• Provide monthly/quarterly bookkeeping support using Xero software.
• Attend internal and external training sessions to stay updated with tax and accounting developments.
• Support team members and contribute to a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Help with other ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.

What You’ll Bring

• Relevant accounting degree and CA/CPA accreditation (or currently working towards completion or planning to undertake)
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Australian practice accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software Xero and MYOB.
• Experience with Class/BGL is not essential but will be regarded.
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach to interaction.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to priorities and meet deadlines.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated and enjoys working as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
