POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for various tasks, including bookkeeping functions related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Accounting including maintenance of the accounting systems, adherence to established policies and procedures, review of documentation for appropriate authorization, timely notification of any problems or concerns and superior customer service. This is an important role in our organization that will require tact, diplomacy, and a professional approach to the job. Confidentiality is critical.
To excel in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of accounting principles. As an organized professional with keen attention to detail, you should be dependable and capable of working independently and collaboratively and providing thought leadership.
Your primary objective will be to ensure that the venue's accounting and financial processes align with the company's established standards, promoting accurate financial reporting and effective control. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be an integral part of the Mammoth Fieldhouse team.
Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably at a private company that generates $5M - $100M annual revenue. Compensation and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience level.
