Senior Accountant (VAT & Cooperate Tax Filing)

About Us

We are a leading renovation and fit-out company in Dubai, specializing in commercial and residential transformations. We are seeking an experienced Accountant with strong expertise in corporate tax, VAT compliance, and fit-out project budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely transaction processing.
• Prepare and file VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Handle Corporate Tax filing in line with FTA requirements.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and monitor fit-out project budgets with cost control and profitability reports.
• Utilize Xero accounting software for bookkeeping, reporting, and audits.
• Oversee bank reconciliations, petty cash, supplier payments, and approvals.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Liaise with auditors for annual audits and ensure timely account finalization.
• Implement internal controls to safeguard company finances.
• Support management with financial planning and cost analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE (mandatory).
• Experience in a UAE construction, fit-out or renovation company (mandatory).
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT & Corporate Tax filing (mandatory).
• Proven experience in project-based budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
