Senior Administrative Assistant

Senior Administrative Assistant – Bethesda, MD


LHH is partnering with a leading organization in Bethesda, MD to provide temporary support as a Senior Administrative Assistant for senior leadership. This role is perfect for a proactive, highly organized professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has experience supporting executives or large teams.


Location: Bethesda, MD (Onsite, Monday–Friday)

Duration: 4–5 months

Start Date: March

Pay: $27–$35/hour, based on experience


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the EVP and work closely with a team of ~30 direct reports
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and capture meeting notes
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and monthly itineraries (training and preferences provided)
  • Track expenses and manage receipts
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail for the executive team
  • Provide backup support for other administrative staff as needed
  • Maintain smooth operations during executive leave, ensuring efficiency and organization


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of administrative or executive support experience, preferably with senior-level executives
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter who picks up tasks quickly and works independently
  • Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Sociable, approachable, and adaptable personality
  • Experience in finance or supporting large teams is a plus
