Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
- Three (3) years of experience providing administrative support in a professional office environment
- Experience formatting documents and creating tables
- Ability to manage workload effectively with competing deadlines and priorities
- Ability to gather, coordinate, and compile data as needed for special projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe
- Experience working in web content management systems (i.e. GATO)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at a college or university
- Knowledge of Texas State University policies and procedures and organizational structure
- Experience working in Concur and SAP
- Ability to navigate in databases and in back-end websites
- Experience with online foldering systems
Job Description
Responsible for providing administrative support to the Associate Vice Provost for Institutional Accreditation
Job Duties
- Compose, type, and proofread correspondence and reports
- Schedule meetings and maintain calendar for the Associate Vice Provost for Institutional Accreditation
- Maintain and track files and corresponding deadlines
- Answer telephone, screen and transfer calls, take messages, greet guests, refer to other offices as appropriate
- Process travel arrangements, reimbursements, invoices and supply orders
- Provide technical support as needed
- Manage web content management system
- Perform other duties as assigned
