Senior Architect / Designer

Job Summary:

The Senior Architect / Designer will be responsible for leading the design and coordination of interior fit-out projects from concept development to execution. The role requires strong expertise in space planning, technical drawings, coordination with project teams, and ensuring that designs comply with client requirements and authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and present creative interior design concepts, layouts, and space planning for commercial and residential fit-out projects.
2. Prepare detailed architectural drawings, shop drawings, and construction documents .
3. Review project requirements and translate client briefs into practical and functional design solutions .
4. Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Site Supervisors, and MEP teams to ensure proper implementation of the design.
5. Ensure all designs comply with local authority regulations and project specifications .
6. Supervise and guide the design team and junior architects/designers .
7. Prepare and review material selections, mood boards, and design presentations for client approval.
8. Attend client meetings, design presentations, and site visits to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
9. Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical details before submission.
10. Work closely with the estimation and procurement teams for material specifications and project requirements.
11. Ensure projects are delivered within design standards, timelines, and budgets .
12. Coordinate with consultants and authorities for design approvals and documentation .

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design .
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in interior fit-out projects , preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of authority regulations and approval procedures .
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite .
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
