Senior Associate - Government Relations

JobPurpose

This role is responsible for keeping the organization aware of new rules and regulations and processing the organization’s related government documents in a timely manner.


Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations or a related field is required.


Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in government and public relations is required.


Skills and Competencies

  • Processing of Employee related visa renewal, issuance, and cancellation.
  • Timely renewal of the organization trade license.
  • Oral and writing communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and plan effectively.


Roles, Responsibilities, Duties


Liaison with Regulatory Authorities

  • Liaising with UAE regulatory and other governmental entities to ensure effective and expedient communication, whilst building strong relationships.
  • Transmitting and receiving information from governmental authorities, and correctly respond to related demands.


Communication

  • Collecting and giving regular updates on all work and migration standards from the government offices to update and inform the executive/senior executive for any changes in procedures and rules.


Documentation

  • Processing and clearing the required documents from the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratization.
  • Submitting, following-up and gathering all new work and business visas to guarantee that the visas are handled and processed on time.
  • Renewing, updating, and keeping up all workers and their dependents’ visas and work contracts on time.
  • Ensuring organization trade licenses is updated, follow-up on official approvals and permits, to prevent unnecessary violations.
  • Converting important papers into Arabic and English as required.
  • Maintaining Employee filling, archiving, and document controlling.
