Job Title: Senior Barista
Location: Al Ain, Abu Dhabi
Salary Range: 3,000-3,500 AED

Position Overview:

The Senior Barista at COMO Lounge is a coffee expert responsible for leading the preparation of high-quality beverages and ensuring seamless operations of the coffee station. This role involves supervising Junior Baristas, managing daily workflow, maintaining product quality, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation:

• Prepare and craft a variety of high-quality coffee and non-coffee beverages, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
• Handle complex brewing techniques, including manual methods like pour-over and espresso calibration.
• Innovate and recommend new beverages or seasonal drinks to enhance the menu.

Leadership and Supervision:

• Train and mentor Junior Baristas, ensuring they adhere to company standards and procedures.
• Lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service and technical skills.
• Delegate tasks efficiently to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours.

Stock and Inventory Management:

• Oversee stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and other ingredients, ensuring they are adequately maintained.
• Coordinate with the Supervisor to place orders and manage inventory.
• Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs promptly.

Cleanliness and Maintenance:

• Ensure that the coffee station, equipment, and related areas are impeccably clean and organized at all times.
• Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with local health regulations.

Customer Service:

• Interact with customers professionally, ensuring they have a memorable experience at COMO Lounge.
• Address customer feedback or complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
• Build relationships with regular customers to enhance loyalty and satisfaction.

Collaboration and Reporting:

• Work closely with Supervisors and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the lounge.
• Assist in planning schedules and managing team performance.
• Provide insights and suggestions to improve service quality and product offerings.

Qualifications:Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Senior Barista in a high-volume or specialty coffee environment.

Skills:

• Expertise in coffee brewing techniques, including manual brewing and espresso calibration.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle pressure during busy periods and maintain high-quality service.
• Strong attention to detail in beverage preparation and workspace organization.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to lift light to moderate weights when restocking supplies upstairs to downstairs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,700.00 per month
