Senior Bookkeeper

As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. This full-time, on-site position in Paso Robles provides an opportunity to contribute directly to our mission of "Building Partnerships and Creating Choices" for those we serve. Three years minimum experience as professional bookkeeper is required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, including management of general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, cash, sales, and payroll accounts.
  • Review contracts, process monthly billing, and monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely payments.
  • Prepare and process Social Security reports and sales tax returns on a monthly basis.
  • Assist supervisors with processing and managing employee timecards.
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records and reporting.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to support financial operations.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of professional bookkeeping experience.
  • Experience with QuickBooks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid California drivers license, reliable vehicle, and ongoing proof of auto insurance (driving is required for this position).
  • Ability to pass required background checks as mandated by state and federal regulations.

Compensation

$29 per hour, depending on experience.
