Job Details

Title: Senior Bookkeeper
Location: Commerce City, CO (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Type: Full-time

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations, with a strong focus on accounts receivable and collections.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage general bookkeeping and day-to-day financial transactions
Process credit card transactions and maintain accurate records
Enter and manage AP and AR invoices
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist with month-end close
Handle collections efforts and maintain customer communication
Build strong relationships with customers and internal sales team
Assist with balance sheet tracking and basic financial reporting
Support overall accounting operations in a lean finance team

Must Have:

Experience in bookkeeping or similar accounting role
Strong AR and collections experience (this is a major part of the role)
Understanding of basic accounting principles
Experience with bank reconciliations and AP/AR processes
Strong communication skills for customer and internal relationship building
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-moving environment

Nice to Have:

Ability to obtain or already hold a MED badge
Experience working in a small or lean finance team

Education:

No degree required — experience is what matters most
