Investment Strategy Development and Execution
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Lead the design, development, and ongoing refinement of investment strategies that align with the ENEC's overall vision and financial objectives.
- Ensure strategies cover multiple geographic markets including the US and Europe, as well as sector-specific focuses such as fuel supply chain, new reactors, and services.
- Drive prioritization of investment opportunities based on risk-return profiles and long-term value creation.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis, including macroeconomic trends, competitive positioning, and sector developments, to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance, risk management, and operations to develop robust investment plans and forecasts.
- Continuously monitor portfolio performance and adjust strategies to respond to evolving market conditions, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
- Prepare strategic investment roadmaps and present recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders for alignment and approval.
Strategic Partnerships and Corporate Collaboration

- Identify, evaluate, and secure strategic partnerships that complement and enhance the ENEC's investment portfolio and growth ambitions.
- Foster strong relationships within corporate Business Development & Investments (BD&I) teams and other key internal stakeholders to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Ensure investment activities align with broader corporate goals including budgets, resource planning, and transformation programs.
- Lead negotiations and due diligence for partnership opportunities, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and clear governance frameworks.
