We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Development Resource with a strong background in tech services sales. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in staff augmentation models and project-based sales models, along with the ability to build and scale a business development function. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive revenue growth, develop client relationships, and lead BD initiatives independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth
- Identify and acquire new clients in IT services, staff augmentation model, and project-based engagements
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure
- Generate high-quality leads through multiple channels
- Convert leads into long-term clients by understanding business needs and proposing tailored solutions
- Establish and grow long-term client relationships across international markets
- Lead, build, and scale the Business Development team within the department
- Collaborate closely with technical and delivery teams to align solutions with client requirements
- Prepare and present proposals, RFPs, and sales presentations
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and new opportunities
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Business Development in IT/Software development and services
- Strong experience in:
- Staff Augmentation Model
- Project-Based Delivery Model
- Proven track record of lead generation and successful deal closures
- Experience in international client handling (preferred)
- Ability to build and manage BD teams independently
- Strong understanding of technical solutions and tech service offerings
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CRM tools
- Familiarity with digital sales platforms
- Understanding of Agile and software development lifecycle
