Job Title: Upwork Seller / Business Development Executive

Location: North Karachi, Karachi

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift Timing: 9PM - 6AM

Experience: 2-3 Years

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Upwork Seller to promote and sell our digital marketing services on the Upwork platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of winning projects on Upwork and strong communication skills to convert leads into clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage professional Upwork profile for the company
  • Write compelling proposals that win projects and stand out from competition
  • Identify and bid on relevant projects matching our service offerings (SEO, Link Building, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing)
  • Communicate with potential clients and understand their requirements
  • Negotiate project terms, pricing, and timelines with clients
  • Maintain high Job Success Score (JSS) on Upwork
  • Build long-term relationships with clients for repeat business
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project requirements are clearly communicated
  • Track and report on proposal submissions, responses, and conversion rates
  • Stay updated on Upwork policies and best practices
  • Handle client onboarding and initial project setup

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of proven experience selling services on Upwork
  • Active Upwork account with good Job Success Score (70%+ JSS preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Upwork platform, bidding strategies, and proposal writing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of digital marketing services (SEO, Link Building, Graphic Design)
  • Ability to understand client requirements and match them with our services
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented
  • Availability to work during US business hours overlap
  • Proven track record of winning projects on Upwork

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling SEO, link building, or digital marketing services on Upwork
  • Rising Talent or Top Rated badge on Upwork
  • Experience with proposal automation tools
  • Knowledge of competitive pricing strategies for freelance marketplaces
  • Familiarity with project management and client communication tools (Slack, Trello, Asana)
  • Previous experience in business development or sales role

  • Number of proposals submitted weekly
  • Proposal-to-interview conversion rate
  • Number of projects won monthly
  • Client satisfaction and feedback ratings
  • Job Success Score maintenance
  • Revenue generated through Upwork

Compensation Structure

  • Base salary + commission on projects won
