Role Objectives
As a Senior Category Manager, you will develop and implement category strategies, foster supplier relationships, and leverage data analytics to optimize performance. You'll also lead contract negotiations, plan promotions, and ensure efficient execution of CPG agreements.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the category that aligns with overall business objectives and drives growth.

Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers by fostering open communication, sharing insights, and identifying opportunities for mutual success.

Leverage data analytics tools to monitor category performance, evaluate trends, and refine strategies based on insights.

Design and implement promotional campaigns, including discounts, sales events, and cross-category initiatives, to enhance category performance and customer engagement.

Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, ensuring clear communication, effective collaboration, and optimal outcomes for all parties.

Oversee the finalization and execution of CPG agreements, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and meet performance targets.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.

4+ years of experience in category management, or a related role in a fast-paced environment.

Strong expertise in developing and executing category strategies aligned with business objectives.

Proven ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers.

Proficiency in data analytics tools and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Experience in planning and executing promotional strategies, including cross-category campaigns.

Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully finalizing contracts and agreements.
