Position Title: Senior Client Strategist

Reports to: CEO

We’re looking for a talented Senior Client Strategist with a minimum of 5–7 years of experience (agency experience preferred) to join our growing team. The Senior Client Strategist plays a senior role within the agency to lead client relationships, direct internal teams, and drive measurable business growth.

This person must be a strategic thinker and hands-on content creator, capable of developing both the strategy and the storytelling that drive results. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strong understanding of performance marketing, and be comfortable interpreting analytics to inform creative direction and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Drive client strategy by understanding each client’s goals, industry, and audience to develop marketing programs that maximize results.
  • Oversee the strategic direction of integrated campaigns including SEO, SEM, paid social, and content marketing.
  • Collaborate with creative, digital, and media teams to ensure all deliverables ladder up to overarching strategic objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and optimization within accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and profitability.

Content Development & Creative Direction

  • Write and produce a variety of content including, but not limited to:

blogs, emails, website copy, video scripts, and campaign messaging.

  • Develop creative briefs, strategic briefs, and presentation decks that clearly communicate goals, insights, and creative direction.
  • Collaborate with designers and copywriters to ensure content aligns with strategy and brand voice.
  • Support concept development for campaigns, social ads, and storytelling that drive measurable engagement and conversion.

Analytics & Performance Marketing

  • Understand and leverage performance marketing metrics across SEO, SEM, and social advertising to evaluate and optimize campaigns.
  • Utilize GA4 and Google Tag Manager to monitor campaign performance, user behavior, and ROI.
  • Translate analytics into actionable insights that guide strategy and reporting.
  • Prepare and present data-backed performance reviews and recommendations to clients.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for key client accounts.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering professional growth and excellence.
  • Ensure client profitability by monitoring billable hours, managing scope, and identifying opportunities for expansion.
  • Maintain strong communication, providing proactive updates and innovative ideas that move the business forward.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing or communications, with significant experience in client strategy or account management.
  • Demonstrated experience writing and producing content across multiple channels (blogs, email, video, digital, and print).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics and analytics platforms, including GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute SEO, SEM, and paid social strategies.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience building and delivering client decks and strategic plans.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
  • Ability to work at a faster-than-average pace, learn quickly, thoroughly, and in detail.
  • Have a strong desire and ability to learn while staying ahead of the curve in regard to the latest technologies and practices.
  • Must be able to react and adjust to change quickly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
