ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Associate Compliance is responsible for supporting the Director of Compliance and the Majid Al Futtaim Holding Compliance team in enhancing and implementing the Corporate Compliance program effectively across the Majid Al Futtaim organization. They will collaborate closely with departments such as Legal, Finance, Human Capital, and Internal Audit within Majid Al Futtaim Holding. The role also involves maintaining strong working relationships with Compliance representatives from the various Majid Al Futtaim Operating Companies. This collaboration ensures consistent and effective Compliance Management throughout the entire organization.
ROLE PROFILE

Support the Director of Compliance in establishing the Majid Al Futtaim Corporate Compliance strategy, roadmap, and framework in collaboration with Operating Company compliance representatives.

Develop and maintain tools to monitor regulatory obligations, including performance dashboards, tracking mechanisms for regulatory changes, and management of fines and corrective actions.

Contribute to the implementation and review of the Policy Framework Document, including the Business Critical Policy list, and ensure organization-wide accessibility and understanding.

Lead training and awareness initiatives for policy owners and employees to ensure compliance with internal policies and effective implementation of internal controls.

Conduct investigations related to ethics hotline cases, perform due diligence on customers, review conflicts of interest and reported gifts, and support risk assessments related to financial crime.

Promote a strong ethical culture by supporting awareness campaigns, aligning work practices with environmental and international standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective compliance management.
REQUIREMENTS

Hold a bachelor's degree in Regulatory Compliance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field, with 1–2 years of experience in compliance, ethics, legal, audit, or human capital considered an advantage.

Demonstrate expertise in screening, sanctions, anti-money laundering, and social media monitoring.

Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey compliance concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Show high integrity, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently in a dynamic environment, with excellent English language skills; Arabic is a plus.
