Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Lawyer to join our legal team. This role is essential in ensuring that all contractual agreements align with the company’s objectives and comply with legal standards.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing various contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts (including supply, distribution, licensing, partnership, technology transfer, know-how, and service agreements, etc.) to ensure alignment with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Provide expert guidance on contract interpretation, compliance, and risk mitigation for local and international transactions.
  • Support cross-functional teams in contract-related matters, ensuring understanding and adherence to terms and conditions.
  • Ensure contracts comply with international laws and regulations relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Maintain records and a centralized database for all contracts and amendments.
  • Lead contract lifecycle management and implement best practices to enhance process efficiency.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies when needed to resolve complex contractual issues.
  • Provide Legal opinions and views on business matters needed by stakeholders.
  • Coordinate between departments in relation to agreements input to ensure efficiency of concluding agreements in line with business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and guidelines in relation to agreements and update same according to business needs.

Requirements

    • LLB (Master’s is a plus).
    • 3-5 years’ professional experience in drafting, reviewing, and managing diverse types of contracts.
    • Strong knowledge of laws and regulations, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector is a plus.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills for risk assessment.
    • Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
    • Advanced proficiency in contract management software and MS Office.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
