Senior Data Science Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and algorithms.
• Build robust data pipelines for large-scale data processing and transformation.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and model optimization.
• Implement MLOps practices for continuous integration and deployment of ML models.
• Ensure high-quality data governance, version control, and reproducibility of experiments.
• Translate complex datasets into clear insights and data visualizations for business stakeholders.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 4–6 years of professional experience in data science, ML engineering, or applied machine learning.
• Strong proficiency in Python/R and relevant libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with SQL and working with relational/non-relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with data engineering tools (Spark, Hadoop, Airflow, Kafka, etc.).
• Proven expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and deep learning techniques.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices (MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for data science workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision projects.
• Knowledge of big data ecosystems and distributed computing.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Prior experience in mentoring or leading junior engineers/data scientists.
