Senior Director, Construction Logistics

A confidential client in Saudi Arabia is delivering one of the Kingdom’s most exciting and complex masterplanned developments. The organisation is seeking a Senior Director, Construction Logistics, to lead the end-to-end delivery logistics strategy across all components of the development.

This role will be responsible for creating and executing the logistics framework that underpins every aspect of project delivery, from early infrastructure and utilities through to construction and handover. The appointed individual will oversee planning, coordination, and implementation of logistics operations across multiple sites and projects, ensuring efficient movement of materials, vehicles, and personnel throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a master logistics strategy to support large-scale mixed-use construction and infrastructure delivery.
• Coordinate site access, haul routes, traffic management, staging areas, and materials flow.
• Integrate logistics considerations into program planning, procurement, and construction sequencing.
• Lead logistics interface management across consultants, contractors, and government stakeholders.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, reporting systems, and digital tools to enhance control and visibility.
• Drive adherence to safety, sustainability, and environmental standards across all logistics operations.
• Build, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary logistics team capable of operating at mega/giga-project scale.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 20+ years’ experience leading logistics or construction delivery on major infrastructure or masterplan developments.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate logistics across complex, multi-contractor environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills, with experience in high-pressure, fast-paced delivery contexts.
• Experience in the Middle East or comparable international markets is advantageous.
