Senior Engineer, Service, Valves

Purpose of the position:

Service support for Project, DTD, MRO, service before and after sales service, repairing and support service management

75 % Service Sales / Spares Sales & 25% Service Support .

Areas of responsibility:

  • 24/7 Telephonic support for Emergencies at site for all Valmet customers.
  • Respond within 24 hours to all Service & Sales Enquiries with an Action Plan to customers in the respective region.
  • Service Quality Compliance and Adherence to Valmet HSE Policy.
  • Responsible for Generating Spares and Service Enquiries, Preparation & Submission of quotes, Achieving OR & Net Sales Targets, On-time Delivery, Payment collection.
  • Reporting: Time sheets, Sales & Service Call Reports / Weekly & Monthly Management Reporting
  • Promote Service Agreements (AMC) and Service Solutions.
  • Carry out Installation, Testing, Commissioning and maintenance of Control Valve, On-Off Valves and ESD Valves.
  • Capable of carrying out PM, Over-hauling of Valves, actuators, smart products and accessories.
  • Carrying out Installed Base Audit of Valmet Customers and managing the installed base

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Engineering Graduate with 5-8 years plus experience / knowledge of valve service.
  • Ability to work under pressure in difficult customer situations and in different cultural environments.
  • Knowledge of Basic Valmet FC products and services.
  • Experience in carrying out shut-down maintenance in large refineries /Oil & Gas industries.
  • Experience in carrying out on-site maintenance for minimum of one year would be preferable.
  • Experience in handling all types of valve - Control Valve, On-off Valve, ESD applications.
  • Experience in smart products, advance diagnostic tools is preferred

Soft Skills: - Communication & Presentation skills

  • Computer knowledge and working on Excel and mail.
