Senior Estimation Engineer ( Fit-Out )

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimation Engineer specializing in Fit-Out projects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry, focusing on fit-out works, and will play a crucial role in preparing accurate cost estimates and managing the bidding process to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for fit-out projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine accurate scope and requirements for estimation purposes.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and clients to gather necessary information and clarify project scope.
• Review and ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements in all estimations.
• Develop and maintain a database of unit rates, labor, materials, and resource costs to improve estimating accuracy.
• Participate in bid reviews and negotiations with contractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Monitor project budgets and assist in the development of work breakdown structures for efficient cost management.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimation engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives within the estimating department.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for fit-out projects within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and project management practices.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools, with a strong understanding of Excel and other relevant applications.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions to challenges that may arise during the estimation process.
