Senior Estimator

China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC ME) is recruiting a Senior Estimator for Infrastructure Project.

The ideal candidate will have above 12 -15 years of proven expertise in estimation for large-scale I nfrastructure projects, including metro stations, steel structures, basement parking, etc. A strong understanding of construction methodologies and hands-on experience in the field will be considered a key advantage. The candidate must have 15 years' experience in the infrastructure industry of UAE.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

1. Analyze the scope from tender documents, drawings, and specifications to advise the adequacy of the documents and project in line with company's business interest.
2. Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive prices for materials and services.
3. Collaborate with internal departments, including Engineering, Contracts, Legal, and Planning, to understand their perspectives and incorporate their critical points into the tender submission.
4. Develop accurate cost estimates for infrastructure projects based on tender requirements, drawings, specifications, and historical data.
5. Identify and analyze potential risks that may impact tender costs and identify strategies to mitigate these risks during tender.
6. Work closely with other members of the tender team to ensure accurate and timely cost/tender submission.
7. Handing over the tender documents, assumptions, pricing, facilitating contract signing if awarded.
8. Advising site team in project budget preparation.
9. Track usage of resources (Labor, Plant, Materials etc.) and advise the management of adequacy/ inadequacy, inefficiency and improvement methods.
10. Witness the site construction, record the activity and come out the internal productivity of the construction items for the future tendering and cost controlling.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's in engineering (Civil)
• Good in English communication, Cost Estimation and Cost Control
• Excellent in Microsoft Office, Basic in AutoCAD
