Senior Estimator

The Estimator will be responsible for appropriately calculating and preparing the cost of the project. They will work closely with the Sales Team and the customer to communicate the competitive advantages throughout the bidding process. The estimator will submit bids ensuring success in the proposal and award process while also providing an excellent customer service experience.

Responsibilities:

1) Review customer artwork and develop quotes.

2) Communicate with customers any recommended changes or customer change requests to provide updated and accurate quote information.

3) Prepare quotes in the required timeframe with realistic expectations to meet customer needs.

4) Use QuickBooks to prepare quotes.

5) Follow up on quotes to determine outcome/success.

6) Establish and maintain working relationships with customer.

7) Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

1) Ability to read and understand customer-provided artwork.

2) Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify small details and provide solutions that assist in manufacturing our products.

3) Communication skills are a must-have for this position in both written and verbal forms.

4) Must be a great listener with the ability to clarify and resolve issues and concerns of external customers, senior personnel, internal customers, sales team, project coordinators, etc.

5) Possesses great interpersonal skills and is passionate and highly energetic in their work.

6) Self-motivated and works under minimal supervision.

Good math skills and a high level of computer proficiency with Google Sheets, Flexi, etc.

7) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

8) Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a group setting and/or independently to meet concurrent deadlines.
