Senior Estimator

-Minimum 3 years' Experience in Interior Fit-out in UAE.

Job Responsibilities:

-Review tender drawings, specifications, and BOQs to determine material, labor, and subcontracting requirements.

-Carry out quantity take-offs from drawings and documents.

-Attend on-site meetings and prepare BOQ

-Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring competitive and accurate pricing.

-Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, tender submissions, and budgetary proposals.

-Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure cost alignment with technical requirements.

-Update and maintain a database of local suppliers, subcontractors, and market rates.

-Assist in value engineering exercises by suggesting alternative materials or methods.

-Support the team in post-tender clarifications and negotiations when required.

Ensure all aspects of the project have been included.

-Interpret specifications, price tenders, and preparation of contract documents.

-Analyses drawings, and prepares BOQ with specifications.

-Prepare the estimation with a detailed break up possibly using estimation models and tools.

-Coordinate with subcontractors to get the price for various elements within the project.

-Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

-Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, and related documents.

-Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.

-Presents prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.

-Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

-Understanding drawings and joinery technical details.

-prepare progress claims, variations, and omission reports.
