Senior Estimator & Project Engineering Manager

Jacob Electric LLC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Estimator & Project Engineering Manager to support our electrical contracting operations across the United States. This role is responsible for preparing electrical project estimates, supporting project engineering tasks, coordinating with project teams, and assisting with bid preparation for commercial, residential, and industrial electrical projects.This is a remote night-shift position aligned with U.S. business hours. The ideal candidate must have strong English communication skills, clear speaking accent, fast typing ability, and the willingness to learn or use AutoCAD and other construction/estimating software.Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate electrical cost estimates for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine scope of work.
• Perform material takeoffs, labor calculations, and cost analysis for electrical systems.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of bids, proposals, and tender documents.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors during the estimating process.
• Support project engineering tasks, including reviewing electrical drawings and assisting with design coordination.
• Work with tools such as AutoCAD, estimating software, and construction management platforms.
• Maintain bid tracking logs and project documentation.
• Communicate effectively with general contractors, facility managers, and internal team members in the U.S.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and technical documentation when required.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to improve project efficiency and cost savings.
• Provide support for pre-construction and project handoff to field teams.

Required Skills

• Strong electrical estimating knowledge and understanding of construction drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience with or willingness to learn AutoCAD and other engineering/estimating software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and construction documentation tools.
• Fast typing speed and strong computer skills.
• Clear English communication skills with a professional accent for working with U.S. clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation.
• Good time management and ability to meet bid deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• 2–3+ years of experience in electrical estimating, project engineering, or construction project management.
• Experience working with U.S. construction drawings, bid documents, and specifications is preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Accubid, or similar estimating software is an advantage.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial electrical construction projects.
• Ability to work night shifts to support U.S. time zones.

Work Schedule

• Remote Position
• Night Shift: 5.30PM - 3.30AM(Aligned with U.S. working hours)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
