Senior Mechanical Project Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to lead the design, execution, and management of complex mechanical systems. With over a decade of industry experience, you will be the technical cornerstone of our projects, ensuring that engineering solutions are innovative, cost-effective, and delivered to the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead the full project lifecycle from conceptual design (FEED) through to commissioning and final handover.
  • Technical Excellence: Oversee the design of mechanical systems, including [HVAC/Piping/Rotating Equipment/Machinery], ensuring compliance with ASME, ANSI, and ISO standards.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets (CAPEX/OPEX), timelines, and procurement processes to ensure zero-cost overruns.
  • Quality & Safety: Lead HAZOP and FMEA sessions to mitigate technical risks and ensure a "safety-first" culture.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical contact for clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams (Electrical, Civil, and Operations).
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and technical sign-offs for junior and mid-level mechanical engineers.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a project engineering role, preferably within the [Insert Industry, e.g., Oil & Gas, Construction, Manufacturing] sector.
  • Licensing: PE (Professional Engineer) license or PMP certification is highly preferred.
  • Software Proficiency: Expert-level use of AutoCAD/SolidWorks, ANSYS (FEA/CFD), and project management tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and the ability to lead under pressure.
