1. Daily Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and manage daily dispatch plans in alignment with business and operational goals.
- Maintain and regularly update the Master Plan and related records for visibility and accuracy.
- Schedule and monitor on-demand deliveries ensuring alignment with HSE and finance protocols.
- Ensure timely execution of schedules and adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Review and confirm SOPs with relevant departments to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
2. Resource Coordination
- Coordinate with HR to align manpower availability with delivery schedules.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition.
- Identify idle truck slots and proactively utilize them for B2B demand or propose alternate utilization strategies.
3. Team & Interdepartmental Support
- Act as the central liaison between operations, sales, and finance to ensure alignment and smooth communication.
- Communicate real-time slot or schedule changes and their impact to all relevant internal stakeholders.
4. Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze delivery data to identify underutilized or underperforming B2B accounts.
- Propose slot or frequency changes to improve truck utilization and delivery efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through basic data-driven insights and suggestions.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and updated records of schedules, truck deployments, and delivery performance.
- Generate daily and weekly operational reports highlighting schedule adherence, delivery status, and gaps for internal review.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in dispatch planning, logistics, or fleet coordination (fuel industry experience preferred).
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and basic data analysis.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of HSE regulations and transport compliance (preferred).
