Senior Executive Rollout

Job Purpose:

• To perform the Supervision of construction, deployment and installation projects in CMPak datacenters including new Tier-3 facility construction projects and infrastructure upgrade and modernization projects on existing datacenters.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and Implementation: Developing and implementing data center infrastructure plans, including network, compute, and power systems.
• Deployment and Maintenance: Managing the deployment of new infrastructure, including network and content serving equipment, and developing maintenance procedures.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining detailed documentation, including rack layouts, cabling diagrams, and run books.
• Project Management: Managing projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and handover.
• Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, operations, and architecture teams, as well as external vendors.
• Supervision of Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) for seamless power transfer between primary and backup sources.
• Supervision of installation and integration of switchgear for efficient power distribution.
• Supervision of installation and connection of Diesel Generators (DG) for emergency power backup.
• Ensuring a robust grounding system for all electrical components.
• Supervision of Installation of cable trays, conduits, and other cable management systems.
• Supervise the installation of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, including chillers, cooling towers, and computer room air conditioning (CRAC) units.
• Ensuring proper airflow and temperature control within the data center, including hot and cold aisle containment.
• Supervise the installation of fire detection and suppression systems, including early warning smoke detection and various extinguishing agents like gaseous or water-based systems.
• Ensuring proper placement and functionality of fire extinguishers and other safety equipment. Supervision of Installation of a raised floor system.
• Ensuring proper load-bearing capacity and stability of the raised floor.
• Installation of all necessary power and communication cabling, including fiber optic and copper cables.
• Ensuring Proper cable routing, termination, and labeling for easy identification and maintenance.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards for cable management and fire safety.
• Collaboration with architects, consultants, structural engineers, and other stakeholders during the construction phase.
• Ensuring smooth coordination with DISCO for Bulk Power Supply connection. Adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Ensuring coordination with local authorities for permits and inspections.
• Thorough testing and commissioning of all installed systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance.
• Documentation of all testing procedures and results.
• Providing support and guidance for ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the installed systems.
• Prioritizing the safety of personnel and equipment according to EHS standards.
• Adhering to relevant industry standards and local regulations.
• Completion of acceptance from relevant stakeholders.

Education:

• Minimum Bachelors in Engineering (Telecommunication, Electrical/Electronics, Computers)

Work Experience:

• Must have at least 7 years of experience in Telecom industry in datacenter deployment and building domain
• Good knowledge of tier-3 data center

Skills – Job Specific:

• Tier-3 facility management related experience.
• Preferably deployment and construction experience.
• Good knowledge of Auto CAD and MS Project CDCE certification will be preferred
