Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Façade Designer to lead the design, detailing, and coordination of façade systems for high-rise, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in curtain wall systems, cladding, glazing, and architectural façade detailing, along with proven experience managing design teams and coordinating with architects, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Technical Development

• Develop façade design concepts, shop drawings, and detailed fabrication drawings.
• Prepare detailed system designs for curtain walls, unitized façades, skylights, louvers, metal cladding, and glass façades.
• Perform design calculations, wind load analysis, and structural checks in coordination with structural engineers.
• Ensure façade designs comply with project specifications, international standards, and local authority regulations.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and project managers during the design and development stages.
• Attend design coordination meetings and provide technical input and solutions when required.
• Review architectural drawings and propose efficient and technically sound façade system solutions.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and mentor junior designers and draftsmen.
• Review and approve drawings before submission to consultants or clients.
• Allocate tasks and manage design schedules to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.

Documentation & Approvals

• Prepare material submittals, technical reports, and method statements.
• Support consultant approvals and authority submissions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, drawing revisions, and design records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7–12 years of façade design experience, preferably within the GCC construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, Rhino, or other relevant 3D design software.
• Strong knowledge of aluminum façade systems, glazing specifications, façade materials, and fabrication processes.
• Familiarity with international façade standards and codes such as ASTM, BS, and EN.
• Excellent technical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
