Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Pittsburgh, PA or Glendale Heights, IL. In this role, you will play a key part in driving data-driven financial decision-making, leading financial modeling and forecasting initiatives, and providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
The ideal candidate will partner cross-functionally across the organization to optimize financial performance, support strategic initiatives, and contribute to long-term business growth.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead complex financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, capital investments, and operational decision-making.
- Own the preparation, review, and interpretation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to drive profitability and performance improvements.
- Analyze trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs), delivering clear recommendations to executive leadership.
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, accounting, and executive teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Lead annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices in financial reporting and analysis.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts and other finance team members.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and board-ready reporting materials.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, capital projects, and other high-impact financial initiatives as needed.

Qualifications & Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Analytics, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 5–8+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Public Accounting experience preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex modeling, pivot tables, Power Query, scenario modeling).
- Extensive experience with financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools preferred.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
