Senior Foreman Insulator

Required Qualifications:

B.E. degree or Diploma

• Good English communication skills
• Preferably experience in Shipyard, with good knowledge of yard procedures and safety policies

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee insulation works on pipes, ducts, tanks, and equipment according to specifications.
• Prepare daily work allocation and manpower distribution for insulation activities.
• Review insulation drawings, isometrics, and specifications.
• Supervise cutting, cladding, and application of insulation materials (thermal, acoustic, fireproof, etc.).
• Ensure correct thickness, material type, and installation methods are followed.
• Inspect insulation works for compliance with standards and client requirements.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed, especially during hot work, working at height, or in confined spaces.
• Enforce compliance with QHSE policies, permits, and safe work practices.
• Monitor waste control and proper handling of insulation materials.
• Report defects, non-conformities, and initiate corrective measures.
• Maintain productivity and timely completion of work targets.
• Lead a team of insulators and helpers and technical support.
• Coordinate with fabrication, painting, and mechanical teams for joint activities.
• Communicate progress and challenges to Supervisor / Project Manager.
• Control usage of insulation materials, cladding sheets, fasteners, and consumables.
• Ensure proper storage and protection of insulation materials on site.
• Previous experience with confined space and working at height.
