Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Senior Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer with a minimum of 10 years of experience to lead and manage all HSE-related activities across our operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, promote a strong safety culture, and proactively mitigate risks to protect employees, assets, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and plans.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).

Conduct risk assessments (HIRA, HAZID, HAZOP) and ensure control measures are in place.

Lead site inspections, audits, and incident investigations.

Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and HSE plans.

Monitor contractor and subcontractor HSE performance.

Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs.

Maintain HSE records, reports, and KPIs.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Drive safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives on site.
Qualifications
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering / environmental science / occupational health & safety or related field.

Professional certifications such as: - NEBOSH IGC / NEBOSH Diploma - ISO Led Auditor 450001 (added an advantage)- ISO Led Auditor 140001 (added an advantage)- Membership - CertIOSH (preferred)

Minimum 7–10 years of experience in HSE, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.

Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations (e.g., Oman Labor Law & PDO/Client standards if applicable).

Knowledge of construction hazards (lifting, excavation, work at height, confined space, etc.).

Proficiency in MS Office and HSE reporting tools

Additional Requirements (Preferred)

Experience in large-scale infrastructure or bridge projects.

Familiarity with client-specific systems.

Valid driving license (Oman).

Multilingual ability (English mandatory; Hindi/Urdu is an advantage).
