Job Duties
Internal and External Communications

Cultivates collaborative and effective working relationships with MAC staff and acts as a resource and guide with the HRIS systems.

Produces written and visual materials that are easily understood and develops custom reports as requested and required.

Communicates and problem solves with internal teams to include Human Resources, Benefits, Labor Relations, and Information Technology to coordinate efforts to improve data processing and performance.

Meet with employee groups, develop relationships with departments to understand their HRIS needs within the organization.

Maintains confidentiality and protection of personal data.
HRIS Administration and System Maintenance

Operate and functionally ownHRIS platforms, ensuring data integrity, system security, and accurate configuration of system features.

Maintain pay grade tables, union rate tables, and benefit plan configurations within the HRIS.

Assist with the implementation of mass data changes and validate results for accuracy.
-
Troubleshoot systemic and integration issues that cause enrollment errors or incorrect deductions.
-
Review and process W2 file specifications to ensure accurate year end reporting and compliance.
-
Provide UKG timekeeping troubleshooting and production support, including issue resolution, configuration updates, and coordination with Payroll.

Ensure HRIS compliance with federal and state regulations.

Support new software implementation projects and collaborate on system upgrades.

Support cross functional projects requiring system configuration, testing, or data validation.
-
Optimize and enhance system processes, practices, and configuration to improve efficiency, user experience, data integrity, and compliance.

Create and maintain process documentation.

Audit HRIS data to ensure integrity and accuracy.

Serve as the technical liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors, communicating system status, risks, and dependencies

Educates users on the use of systems and features.
Benefits System Support

Configure enrollment parameters, processing options, and data selections for batch enrollments
-
Create test scenarios, test plans, and batch setups for unenrollment and reenrollment projects.

Lead open enrollment setup, including event creation, plan sequencing, and end-to-end testing.

Run open enrollment file feeds and perform year-over-year comparisons using comparison tools.

Create and update benefit groups, categories, and plan assignments based on contract changes.
-
Create new benefit plans and coordinate setup with payroll.

Generate and file 1095 tax forms with the IRS.
Reporting and Data Analysis

Create reports using Reports Now, E1 filters, and UKG.

Produce time-sensitive labor negotiation reports, including employee lists, step progression, differentials, and financial summaries.

Conduct data analysis to support leadership decision-making.

Provide insights and recommendations based on system data and trends.
This position provides an opportunity for on-site and remote work. MAC's remote work policy requires employees to be on-site three days of the week. Among the three on-site days, one of them must be either a Monday or a Friday and on Tuesdays, all employees are required to be onsite.
