Role Purpose:

The Senior HR Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that the human capital strategy supports both the service excellence expected from the brand and the commercial goals of the ownership. The role demands a confident and business-minded HR leader who can operate effectively within an owner–operator structure and elevate people performance in a luxury service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hotel management and corporate stakeholders to align HR practices with operational and strategic objectives.
  • Lead all aspects of workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention for the hotel property.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits processes in coordination with corporate HR and operator standards.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives tailored to a high-touch hospitality environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Turkish labour law, internal HR policies, and service-level expectations.
  • Lead the performance management cycle, learning & development agenda, and succession planning activities.
  • Maintain strong alignment between the operator’s HR approach and ownership's strategic priorities.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR role within a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality setting.
  • Expertise in end-to-end HR management within owner–operator models.
  • In-depth knowledge of Turkish labour law and HR operational best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Fluent in Turkish and English.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience in mixed-use developments or large-scale hospitality projects.
  • Background in hotel pre-opening or transformation projects.
  • International brand exposure or cross-cultural HR experience.
  • Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD).

Key KPIs:

  • Retention and engagement metrics across hotel functions
  • Hiring quality and time-to-fill performance
  • Compliance audit scores and HR policy alignment
  • Training participation and talent pipeline development
  • HR contribution to guest satisfaction and service consistency

Rainmaker Note: A pivotal HR leadership role at the intersection of hospitality excellence and strategic asset ownership.
