ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB

  • The Internal Controls Senior Specialist is responsible for ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of the internal control environment across the business unit, driving risk mitigation initiatives, and partnering with stakeholders to support strong governance and compliance practices.

ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Function as internal controls business partner, maintaining strong relationships with control owners and providing guidance on internal control and compliance requirements using a cooperative, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Assesses operational and design gaps within business processes and collaborates with process owners to effectively mitigate associated risks.
  • Ensures the effective implementation of the internal control framework within the Egypt business unit by conducting walkthroughs with process owners.
  • Performs testing of internal controls to evaluate both design and operating effectiveness within the business unit.
  • Investigates, validates, and analyzes root causes of identified deficiencies, working closely with process owners to develop and implement SMART remediation action plans.
  • Monitors and tracks remediation progress, promptly communicating potential issues or delays, identifying solutions, and highlighting areas of risk.
  • Oversees the work of Internal Control Specialists by offering direction, mentorship, and on-the-job coaching on internal control activities.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing deficiencies and recommendations in alignment with the established reporting plan.
  • Keeps current with regulatory developments and industry best practices to assess their impact on CCH’s internal control environment.
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance and streamline internal controls and ICF compliance processes.
  • Participates in risk assessment activities to support ongoing evaluation of operational, financial, and compliance risks across business units.
  • Contributes to planning and scoping activities as assigned by the Internal Control Manager.
  • Proactively communicates challenges, emerging issues, and identified risks to the Internal Control Manager.
  • Supports internal and external auditors by providing required documentation, clarifications, and follow-up on audit findings.

ARE THSES YOUR SECERET INGRIDENTS?

Experience and Education Qualification:

  • 4-6 years’ experience in FMCG environment or within Big Four companies.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and ability to navigate and support extracting, reviewing, and analyzing complex data sets.
  • Advanced knowledge of MSOffice (particularly MS Excel).
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to details
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • University bachelor’s degree with major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Fully certified as -ACCA, CPA, CIA, CFE or proven progress towards the certification.
